Privacy Policy

We built this site to collect as little about you as possible. No cookies, no trackers, and the only personal data we ask for is what you type into the enquiry form. This page explains what we do collect, why, and the rights you have under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the PDPA).

The short version

• This site uses no cookies and no trackers, and it loads nothing from third parties. The only counting we do is an anonymous daily tally of visits, kept on our own server.
• The enquiry form asks for your first name, what you're interested in, and an optional message. That's it.
• Sending an enquiry opens your own WhatsApp. Nothing goes anywhere until you press send.
• We never sell personal data, and we only use it to reply to you and to coach you.

Who we are

ByDo (Be Your Day One) is a brand of Gahana Pte Ltd (UEN 202541528C), a company registered in Singapore. For anything about your personal data, email hello@bydo.sg and a real person will reply.

What we collect on this site

The enquiry form asks for:

• your first name (required)
• what you're interested in, chosen from a short list (required)
• a message (optional, share only what you're comfortable with)

Like almost every website, our server also sees standard technical information such as your IP address. We use it briefly, in memory, to limit repeat submissions, and our server may keep routine technical logs for security and reliability.

We also keep a simple, anonymous count of how many times each page is viewed and how many enquiries are sent: numbers per day, nothing else. It stores no names, no IP addresses and no identifiers, and it is never shared with anyone.

We don't use cookies, advertising pixels or third-party scripts. Every font, image and script on this site is served from bydo.sg itself.

How the enquiry form works

Submitting the form doesn't send us anything directly. It opens WhatsApp on your device with your message pre-typed, and you stay in control: nothing reaches us until you press send inside WhatsApp.

From that point the conversation is an ordinary WhatsApp chat between you and us. WhatsApp is a Meta company and handles message data under its own terms and privacy policy, so what you send there lives in WhatsApp, not on this website.

Our server keeps a short technical record of each enquiry (the time, the name you gave, the interest you chose, and at most the first 40 characters of your message) so we can keep the form healthy and spot abuse.

Why we use your data

• to reply to your enquiry and arrange sessions
• to keep the site secure and free of spam
• to meet any legal obligations that apply to us

That's the full list. No marketing lists, no profiling, no selling.

If you become a client

Coaching needs a little more than a first name. If you train with us we'll ask for contact details and a short health questionnaire, and we keep records of your sessions and strength baselines so we can coach you safely and show you real progress. That information is used only for your coaching, and you can ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted at any time.

Who we share data with

Nobody, beyond the services that keep the site running: our hosting provider (our server sits in Singapore) and WhatsApp, for conversations you choose to start. We never sell or rent personal data.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiry records live in short server logs used for operating and troubleshooting the service. Client records are kept while you train with us and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask us to delete your data and we will, unless the law requires us to keep something.

Your rights under the PDPA

You can:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we've used it
• ask us to correct it
• withdraw consent for us to keep or use it
• ask us to delete it

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Anything new (a new form, a new tool) will be reflected here before it goes live.
